Kysor/Warren has made a commitment to build sustainable products while decreasing energy costs and enhancing stability. Our STRATUS Merchandise Display Cases and CO2 Refrigeration Systems are examples of our commitment to “Keeping it Green and Cool.”

STRATUS

Our new merchandise display case product line, STRATUS, provides features such as flexibility and energy-efficiency. The STRATUS line offers advanced solutions such as durability, ease of installation and maintenance which results in benefits for customers and for the environment. Our STRATUS product line helps reduce the impact on the Earth while creating energy cost-savings for grocery retailers.

CO2 Refrigeration System

Kysor/Warren unveiled in October 2009, the grocery industry's first cascading refrigeration system with naturally occurring carbon dioxide (CO2) to keep frozen and fresh foods cold. The first-of-its-kind CO2 cascading system reduces ozone-depleting refrigerants significantly lessening the harmful impact on the environment. By utilizing a natural refrigerant in conjunction with R-134a, the system lowers the global warming potential by approximately 50 percent.
