FTE | Full Transcritical Efficiency

FTE (Full Transcritical Efficiency) is an Epta technology designed to improve the energy efficiency of transcritical CO₂ booster systems. By operating medium-temperature evaporators at lower superheat, FTE increases useful evaporator capacity and allows the medium-temperature suction pressure and temperature to rise. This reduces compressor workload and helps lower overall system energy consumption.

ETE | Extreme Temperature Efficiency

ETE (Extreme Temperature Efficiency) is an Epta technology designed to improve the efficiency and performance of transcritical CO₂ systems in warm and high-ambient conditions. ETE cools the CO₂ after it leaves the gas cooler, reducing flash gas formation and increasing the amount of liquid refrigerant available for useful cooling. The result is improved system efficiency and reliable CO₂ operation in demanding climates.

CO₂ Charge Protector

CO₂ Charge Protector™ helps protect the system’s refrigerant charge during power outages and service events. When it detects increasing pressure, the unit cools the CO₂ in the flash gas tank to help prevent the refrigerant from expanding and being released. Designed to operate from auxiliary power, including a UPS battery backup, it helps protect the charge and enables a smoother restart after downtime
